THE PROJECT

Who are Eye On Antisemitism?

We are an organisation that sits on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, giving advice and help to those who have been a victim of Antisemitism,Anti-Zionist religious harassment or bullying.

We help anyone of all ages who have been a target for this type of abuse.

We do not distinguish between political leanings, and we avoid tags or smears that have been placed on individuals that give excuses to harass or bully a person online.

If they have been a victim of Anisemitism, whether they are from the political far left, liberal or the right of politics.

We aim for the user to continue their online experience in peace, and not have

to leave any social media platforms because of their views.

We do not hide the reasons for the abuse, and we will be honest in showing you where the hatred is coming from through social media .

We will post examples of the type of hatred we are talking about.

What are we setting out to achieve?

YadbYadUK was formed by genuine Tweeters who loved Israel and politically were very vocal in their approach to Israel, who had been targeted or bullied over long periods of time.

We felt that their voices were either not heard, or had the misfortune to be targeted or abused.

Political speech is important.

It should not be an excuse for online bullying.

How do we help?

We give practical and simple advice to the social media user, on how best to tackle this form of prejudice and bigotry.

We also can help by reporting and supporting you when reporting the hate crime or abuser to the police. Starting our project through YadbYadUK from 2008, we began monitoring social media in 2012 as Eye on Antisemitism.

We have had huge success in confronting antisemitism online, challenging anyone who we believe should be challenged in order to show people that Antisemitic posts, messages or incidents are wrong.

We collaborated with Campaign4Truth in 2015 a well established organisation countering the BDS movement and anti Israel events

THE HARD TRUTH

70%

HAVEN'T REPORTED TO THE POLICE

30%

OF ONLINE ANTISEMITISM THAT DO REPORT RECIEVE NO SUPPORT

30%

DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT

Here is the hard truth.

Since the trend for chat rooms began back in 1996, Jews have been attacked, vilified, harassed and bullied for their advocacy online, or for their religious beliefs.

Not since 1938 has there been a horrific increrase in antisemitsm.

We began to monitor antisemitism and anti-zionism on social media in 2000, through twitter in 2008 and Facebook.

We established ourselves as the only monitoring service that not only helps advise but helps support people, during the reporting process.
